About Joan’s Canvas

Nature is the starting point of my creative process. Inspired by its colours, organic forms, textures, and constant transformation, I create abstract artworks that capture atmosphere, movement, and emotion rather than depict a specific place or moment.

Working primarily with acrylic paint and acrylic mediums, I build layered compositions that explore depth, texture, and visual connection. Each piece develops intuitively, allowing color, shape and structure to interact and evolve on the canvas.

My artistic process is guided by exploration and intuition, allowing materials, textures, and layers to shape each composition organically. Every artwork becomes a balance between spontaneity and intention.

Through abstract expression, I transform impressions of nature into layered visual experiences that invite viewers to pause, connect, and experience the beauty, movement, and quiet presence of the natural world.
